THE DRIVE
This month I am collecting items for the non-profit, American Friends of Kenya, that will be shipped to Kenya in April. The APO service fraternity at the University of Wisconsin, Madison is collaborating with me to collect and ship items. Collected items will be distributed to clinics, schools, and orphanages in some of Kenya’s largest slums. Many supplies will go to Kibera, (the largest slum in Africa, and second largest in the world) and recently founded Kibera School for Girls and clinic. Please take a minute to look at the video posted-it gives more information about the conditions of Kibera-and where some of of these items will be going. Thanks to Shining Hope for Communities for the photos and video too!
* You don’t need to go buy anything to support the drive! As long as items are in good condition, they may be used!
